By Fashina Shakiru Flycomnews Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has assured that his government set to collaborates with public private partnership (PPP)   to transform the state’s education sector in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S agenda. The Governor who made this known during a public-private partnership dialogue at the Eko Hotels and Suites organised by the state ministry of education with the theme “creating a better future through education.” in Lagos. He said it was necessary for the private sector to uphold the structures laid out by the government for the advancement of education, saying that the government alone cannot do it. According to him,  the state has increased annual budgetary allocation of education from N65 billion in the previous year to N135 billion in 2020 was a demonstration of administration’s commitment to raise the quality of delivery in the sector. Sanwo-Olu Flagoff school feeding as Eshilokun leads program in Elegbata primary school in Lagos Island

By:Fashina Shakiru. Deputy speaker Lagos state House of Assembly Honourable Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun earlier today distributes food snack kits to pupils of public primary school. The gestures was shown in one of the public primary schools in Lagos Island St. Joseph Primary school . According to information available on his Facebook page, he posted infulfillment of his campaign promise to boost education standard in Lagos, the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, flag-off school feeding pilot programmes in public primary schools. He added, the programme which provide opportunities for pupils in public schools to get feed, commenced today with thirty-two (32) schools on Lagos-Island. He reveals "one of the selected schools is St. Joseph Primary School, Elegbata. Lagos Island  where the Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni represented the Executive Governor as early as 7:30 am to distribute the food to the pupils.

The James Hope College   (JHC)   has announced the acquisition of the American International School Lagos (AISL)   Lekki Campus facility to establish James Hope College in Lagos.   This was disclosed at the signing ceremony held yesterday at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island,   Lagos . As part of Supermega Seven Foundation's objectives to support quality education for the poor in line with SDG 4: Quality Education; the Foundation will be at Divine Dove International Schools at 0081, Zone A, Dape II, Angwan Cement, Life-Camp, FCT, Abuja on the 5th of April 2015 to distribute writing materials and gift to the pupils.
