Xmas: Sen Oluremi Tinubu holds 9th Musical Festival for Youths in Lagos

By:Fashina Shakiru It was another remarkable edition of musical festival (MYFI) for youths conference organised by the senator representing Lagos Central District, Mrs.  Oluremi Tinubu, held on Tuesday 17th December 2019  at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island as this year's theme tagged “Sacrifice of Praise”. This year’s edition had in attendance thousands of youths which features prayers, praise of songs, dances and worship of praise with the words of God. Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu senator representing Lagos Central District said in her welcome addressed that Musical Festival for Youths (MYFI) had, since Nine (9) years ago served as a platform for the youths, to pull their resources and talents together in order to help set the pace and chart a way forward for other youths in the country. The Commander of the Nigerian Army training and doctrine Command (Tradoc), Major General Abuabakar Adamu Tarfa on Thursday in Minna, Niger State awarded by the Independent Magazine Publisher Prince Jude Ubaka,  While receiving the award said, the Nigerian Army has reiterated its commitment of having a harmonious relationship with the media across the country According to him, "the media plays very important role in among the security outfit in the country by projecting the positive results of the activities of the Military and other security agencies in enhancing the development in the Country." Okiki Bright drags telecoms giants to Court over intellectual property theft An upcoming hip hop artiste, Okiki Bright has dragged telecommunications giants, 9mobile, Airtel, Glo and another company Mobilexcetera  before the federal high court, Ikoyi Lagos over illegal use of his intellectual property, ‘Gba gbe boshe sele’ as caller tune without his authorization. Investigations by members of the Nigeria Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ) reveal that in a suit, FHC/L/CS/1776/17 and dated November 22nd, 2017 at the federal high court, Lagos the promising artiste is asking, among other things, for the sum of four hundred million naira from the four defendants and a perpetual injunction restraining the defendants from continued use of the work.
