As part of the effort of the Nigerian Army Civil Military Relations Department has again set aside north east tour for social media influencers in Nigeria. Austin Peacemaker Chief Executive Officer Security TV said the participants in all Social Media Influencers Seminars organized in 7 Locations, the Chief of Army Staff via the Department of Civil Military Affairs has approved a Northeast Social Media Influencers Tour (SIT) which stated for 3-day tour from Sunday 24th to Tuesday 26th November 2019. In his own words, SIT is to enable Social Media Influencers have a feel of what Nigerian Troops fighting the insurgents in the Northeast go through, as this will enable us have a closer interaction with them, and also come to appreciate their sacrifices for Nigeria, Peacemaker said. The Nigerian Army has given scour to Cameroonian refugees in Gembu Sarduana Local Government of Taraba State. The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai while putting smiles on the faces of refugees donated food items and relief materials to relieve their suffering. Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai was represented by General Officer Commanding 3 Division Maj Gen Nuhu Angbazo,who expressed concern over the pitiable state of less privileged Cameroonian living in that part of Taraba state. According to him, there should be more commitment shown to these vulnerable groups of people including widows, physically challenged persons, indigent children, school dropouts, mentally deranged,orphans, and others. The items donated were adult clothes, mattresses,spoons,plates, wrappers,towels, and others are bags of rice, tin tomatoes, cartoons of vegetable oil, among others.

Abibu Eleto himself was succeeded by Imam Bello Dabiri whose appointment did not go well with Salami Ogunro who was Eleto's deputy, Ogunro challenged this in court but lost. The internal rancor within the Quranic group had long been resolved and the Quranic jamat remained intact as a group. However, it should be noted that the Quranic Group has since 1876 remained independent of Lagos Central Mosque and it is not subordinate to it in Islamic Affairs. There, however exists between the Lagos Central Mosque and the Quranic group mutual understandings, reciprocal cooperation and mutual respect by leading officials on the two sides.
