The Salamotu Dosumu Skills Acquisition Foundation has flagged off a campaign to train and empower over One Hundred and Fifty (150) participants in plastic petty bottles collection across Lagos state. In a telephone conversation with our correspondent on Sunday, Flycomnews gathered that the Founder of Salamotu Dosumu Skills Acqusition Foundation (SDSAF) Mrs. Idown Rosulu Shakirat, said the foundation decided to call on teeming Lagosians who believe in and have the passion, creativity and skill to turn waste to wealth in order to enhance and support their daily incomes, to bring plastic pet bottles to the foundation. Pet bottles are expected to be in different brands and are expected to be clean and well packed. She said incentives will be made available at  the training in return in line with the Foundation's waste to cash initiative. …As Women Conference Ends The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) on Thursday urged the Federal Government and governments across the states to prioritise issue of maternal mortality, which it described as “national emergency”. The Committee said the high maternal mortality would not augur well for the nation, urging all stakeholders, especially the Government to initiate actions that would address the problem, with the aim to stem the growth.
