COVID-19: OLASUPO DISTRIBUTES OVER 2200 RELIEF FOOD MATERIALS IN LAGOS ISLAND EAST |FASHINA SHAKIRU

In a bid of complimentary the effort of the Lagos State Government yesterday Aspirant for Chairmanship position under All progressive congress (APC) Honourable Abdul-Jeleel Tawo Olasupo presented and distributed over two thousand, two hundred (2200) Relief Food Material Package to various wards in Lagos Island East to mitigate the effect of stay at home lockdown directive by the state and federal government.
Olasupo who speaks with the newsmen at the distribution center in Lagos said as the government announced the lockdown for precautionary measure to avoid the spread of pandemic coronavirus pledged to give back to the society to show support for our families and people around us as constituency where I belong to.
According to him, I have decided to make a provision to support the people of my constituency some Relief Food Material Package; Garri, semovita, Wheat, Ayoola Pound yam and Rice which some over One thousand (1000) first phase package sent out to various wards to touch each and every household especially the vulnerable ones, elderly people, widows and the aged people.
He added the second phase additional of One thousand(1000) food package will be sent out in another batch of total of Two thousand, two hundred (2,200) to show little contribution to support the present Governor Lagos state Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Olasupo urged people to stay at home as advised by the government in order to remain alive and stay safe.
He, however, advised that people maintain social distancing, regularly washing your hands with soap and water at least 20 seconds, use hand sanitizer, hand gloves and nose mask,
Others are avoid contact with people, avoid touching the hard surface, cover your nose with tissue paper or elbow when sneeze and avoid clouded spaces.
This is the type of people that suppose to occupy administrative seat at govt executive office. May Allah reward him abundantly
