Babajide Sanwo Olu, Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) made this an appeal in an interactive session at the Apex Yoruba Tennis Club,Onikan, Lagos, with the executive members and members of the public in Lagos lsland.

While revealing  his plans for the audience at the Yoruba Tennis club Onikan Lagos on Friday evening with his running mate Dr Quadri Obafemi Hamzat, reiterated his plans   for greater Lagos which he tagged five "theme agenda".

“As Lagos state, embarks on an accelerated transition to Africa's Model city ,where quality of life is optimal, we will also make the city to depict a centre of excellence in terms of   traffic management& transportation, health & environment, education & technology, entertainment & tourism and making Lagos state, a 21st century economy,”Sanwo Olu reveals.

He however, urges the good people of Lagos state to come out enmass and cast their votes for him Olu as we had good campaign, canvassed and engaged with the people of Lagos state. Election is not about hate speeches, ethnicity and using emotions to campaign but of issues based campaign is election.

Honourable Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni Deputy Speaker, Lagos state said, “as optimistic as ever, I am very sure God willing, people of Lagos state will not let APC down. We have served and represented them well. Putting Lagos state, as number one state in Nigeria and fifth largest economy in Africa with the most resourceful, developed and vibrant in the world”.
Sanni, urged the people of Lagos state to vote and not fight but come out to democratic rights.

The helicopter conveying Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has crash-landed in Kabba, Kogi State on Saturday afternoon According to information by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity) to the Vice President, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon. 2019: Afenifere Faction Endorses Buhari

A faction of Afenifere, a pan Yoruba social-cultural group, on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari as its candidate for the February 16th election. The Senator Ayo Fasanmi-led faction said it took the decision because of Buhari’s sterling performances. At the endorsement which took place at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Chief Ayo Fasanmi, Deputy Governor of Lagos and Ogun States, Mrs. Idiat Adebule and Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga and former Minister, Demola Seriki who represented Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Traditional rulers at the event included the Ewi of Ado Ekiti Oba Rufus Adedejuyigbe; Akirun of Ikirun Oba Abioye Oyebode and Oniye of Iye Ekiti, Oba Adeleye Oni among others.
