The Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI) has charged newly trained Central Business District (CBD) Enforcement Officers to uphold integrity and professionalism in the discharge of their duties. The Director General LETI, Mr Ifalade Oyekan made the call at the end of a three-day training held at the institute for new volunteers of the CBD Corps. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 40 officers participated in the law enforcement officers proficiency training. They were trained on various aspects of law enforcement including public transportation and traffic management, emotional intelligence, investigation, human relations, first aid, physical agility and self defense. Oyekan said the training was in fulfillment of the institute’s mandate to equip law enforcement officers with 21st century professional standards and tactical proficiency needed for quality delivery of service.
