Schools To Resume August 3, says Sanwo-Olu | By Fashina Shakiru

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday announced that final year students in Primary 6, Junior Secondary School 3 and Senior Secondary School 3 are to resume classes from Monday, August 3.

The Governor made the announcement during a press briefing held at State House, Marina Lagos

He however, directed school operators of public spaces and offices should deny entry to anyone without a mask.

The Federal Government had last week approved what it called “safe reopening” of schools nationwide in the next phase of the gradual easing of lockdown ordered to curtail further spread of COVID-19.

A former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has again defended his decision to support the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar. Mr Obasanjo in a statement to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Lagos Island Club said he has been called several names for sticking his neck for his former deputy.
