Customs Generates N5.5bn Daily —Comptroller-General The Nigeria Customs Service said on Thursday in Lagos that , its revenue generation has increased to the region of N 5 . 5 billion daily. The Comptroller - General, Col . Hameed Ali ( rtd) made this known during a working visit to the headquarters of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders in Lagos . The CGC , who was represented at the event by the Assistant Comptroller General and Customs Coordinator in-charge of Zone A , Mr Kaycee Ekekezie , said that the feat was made possible as a result of the automation of customs operations at the ports. Temitope Oni wears end of school gown By: Oladele Dada Just like every dream of a serious minded scholar to reach the pinnacle of academic excellence, such is   ONI Temitope’s case. Her wish of becoming a Doctor of Philosophy had been at the forefront of her academic journey and this came to a reality last at the 23rd Convocation ceremony of the Lagos State University Ojo. ONI Temitope didn’t just graduated, but against all odds, she emerged as one of the best graduating Doctorate students  in Counselling Psychology. What a great feat! Speaking with Flyconnews, on how she felt, she said “it has always been my dream to wear the end of the school gown, which is the highest academic gown. Remembering my ordeals, it was not easy, but with strong determination and believing in God, everything will work out as planned. There will be challenges, but we must be tenacious in achieving our goals. And that’s why I want to encourage everyone to pursue his/her dream. I am really grateful to
