4TH ANNUAL RAMADAN LECTURE OF HON MOSHOOD OLAWALE ELETU'S iCARE FOODBANK GIVES FOOD ITEMS TO ANOTHER SET OF HUNDREDS IN LAGOS ISLAND| Fashina Mobilaji Shakiru.
Barely week, It was another remarkable moment of joy on Friday, May 3st 2019, for the party leaders, associates, elderly, familes, friends, relatives, widows, needy and vulnerable people in Lagos lsland Division, when Supervisor for Environment Lagos lsland Local Government repeated his kind gesture, by doling out food items, at his 4th Annual Ramadan lecture Pashi square, Lagos lsland, Lagos State.
The laughter on the faces of the beneficiaries cannot be over emphasised as they were showering prayers on Hon. Moshood Olawale Eletu, his amiable wife, Mrs Omotoani Eletu and members of Moshood Olawale Eletu(M.O.E) Foundation.
The gesture of that day, was more extended to the Muslim Community in observing the Ramadan period as theme of this year's annual Ramadan lecture was tagged POWER OF GOOD DEEDS/ POWER OF THE PEOPLE. An insightful message was delivered by the National Amir NADWAT, Fadhilat Sheik Abdul Ramon Adesanju Lawal ably represented by Alhaji Bola Ahmed, who affirmed the importance of power of good deeds and power of the people, and further bestowed abundant blessings upon Hon. Hon Moshood Olawale Eletu.
In attendance, over 500 audience, Hon. Moshood Olawale Eletu enjoined the Party faithfuls to celebrate a peaceful Ramadan festival and solicits for their continuous support and prayers to enable him do more than what he is doing presently.
"This and some other pleasant gestures of course, had qualified Hon Moshood Olawale Eletu as a symbolic representation of humility and good conscience in lagos lsland Division. By his character, he is repugnant to illiberal and inequitable principles". This was revealed by Mr Dasilva, while speaking to FlycomNews.
Dasliva stated that others honourables should emulates what MOE is doing for his people as power of good deed is important and power belongs to the people.
The Secretary Lagos local Government, Prince Hon Ladega Olorugun, applauded the uncommon gesture of his colleague, friend and brother Hon, Eletu and said from the lecture delivered by guest lecturer everyone to be honest and good to everyone because charity beings at home.
Olorogun urged the audience to takecare of their environments, as these environments started from us and we can't leave everything for government to do
Engineer Waheed Olarenwaju Kazeem said one thing about government is to give back to the people whatever you have in order to eradicate poverty while is a good things aside given back to the society on yearly basis, this program also bringing political class together for our government to continue in the local and state levels which is good ideas by Hon Eletu.
He further discussed about the new government in Lagos State as Govrnor H.E Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has started naming his cabinets which Lagosians are expected alots of good transformation and improvement in Lagos state in the next couple of months. As he been former commissioner before he became a govenor, he is going to preform more excellently, because governance is continuom as there state a state policies that state government most implements like Lagos state Master Plans Kazeem stressed.
From the lecture, the lecturer preaches love, peace and cooperation in our society and people should involve in doing good deeds because the power of good deeds important as the power to the people.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed profound appreciation to the erudite Supervisor for Environment, his wife and the entire M.O.E Team for their uncommon gesture and prayed for God's guidance in their future endeavours.
Speaking with FlycomNews, Hon Eletu said appreciate the goodwill of the people and their tremdous turned out and support while given praises to Almight Allah for the program and seeing the end of this year's Ramadan.
