MEET 15TH NEWLY CHIEF IMAM OF QURANIC CENTRAL MOSQUE OF LAGOS.

Chief Imam Ajose is a devoted Muslim, gentle by nature of his a simple lifestyle and among the league of youngest Chief Imam in the history of Quranic Central Mosque Lagos State and Nigeria. Aside that, he is a renowned
educationalist, teacher, proprietor, Islamic scholar, and businessman.

Chief Imam Ajose, who was born on October 1st in the middle sixes is an edupreneur and philanthropist who managed to combine all his passion, interest and career to serve Allah and humanity. His native home is Lagos lsland Area of Oko-Faaji, Lagos state, Nigeria to the Muslim family of Ajose and Otun Jinadu of Lagos.

The Chief Imam, came from well respectable family background, as his father was well known in the society for being hard worked and dedicated devoted Muslim throughout his life.

Chief Imam, started his first primary basic education at the African Church Cathedral Bethel School, Board street, Lagos Island. He continues his education at Lagos City College, Yaba and later proceeded to Community High School, Ilado for his secondary education.

Chief Imam Ajose, during his days in school, he was popular among his classmates and participated in most of the school activities. He also received both first School Leaving Certificate and Higher School Certificate with sound records.

The Chief Imam, decided to enrolled and gained admission into Ondo State University where he obtained Diploma in Education in 1989 and proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwuye, Ogun state where studied Business Administration "Education"  and bagged Bachelor in Education (B.sc ed) and Master in Educational Management (M.ed).

His someone for self reliance and this made him passionate for education from his childhood life and committed to be among first generation in Lagos lsland to started an Evening Lesson named "Unity Coaching" in 1980 which graduated as a full fledged as of one of best private Islamic School (Ola Quran Private)  in Lagos island and Ikorodu Lagos established in 1986 as a quintessential teacher, renowned educationist and proprietor as he has contributed to the educational development Lagos, Nigeria

For his Islamic and Arabic background, Chief Imam Ajose had his Quranic and Arabic education at Tawakalitu Rabi Arabic school Aroloya street Lagos, under the tutelage of Alfa Tawakalitu Hassan (Alfa Ijebu). Also he had some tutorials from late Mufassir Ajana and Shiekh Yahya Mustapha of Quranic Central Mosque of Lagos.

As a member of Quranic Muslim Community of Lagos, he served at different capacities for development and progress of the mosque.  He was secretary at Durosoto Quranic Mosque between 1991-1995, and later appointed as Ratibi Imam of the same Mosque after the demise of late Imam Abdul Wahid Ottun.

As God Almighty wishes and for his commitment to serve for will of Allah, he was given a position of Second Assistant Secretary of the Quranic Central Mosque Muslim Community of Lagos and later promoted to Assistant Secretary.

During the tenure of late Chief Imam Alhaji Abdul Rahman Thanni he was appointed as Olori Ratibi of the Quranic Central Mosque of Lagos. As the Divine wishes of Allah, he is now present 15th Chief Imam of Quranic Central Mosque of  Lagos that will be officially turban on the 28th July 2019.

In community development, he contributed his best to served as secretary and later chairman of Alagba/Obadina Community Development Association between 1988 to 1990. In 1992, he was elected secretary of Lagos Island Development Association ( L.C.D.A) under the chairmanship of Mr F O.K Sanya.
Alhaji Abdul Rashid Ajose is happily married and blessed with children.
