Today's empowerment is strictly for provision and donation of working tools for artisans, commodities and empowerment tools for other beneficiaries. Millions of people in the developing world like Nigeria, largely women are associated with artisan sector. Behind agriculture, artisan sector is the second largest employer in the developing world. The potential for economic development by artisan enterprises in developing countries cannot be underestimated because the sector is already a great source of job creation and export earnings but the unaddressed problems of this sector in the developing countries have not allowed artisan economy to reach its true potential, Davies said.

By choosing to support artisans, consumers, investors, business leaders and policy makers can help to realize this potential, and to generate deeper social and economic impact for hardworking artisans."

It is a clear resemblance of state of nature with democratization and use of weapons during clashes. Nobody is above the law and law is no respecter of anybody. No one bigger than the whole community and your act is a crime against humanity.
