Lagos state has taken the lead in the total number of collected PVCs in the country with 5,531, 389 ahead of the general elections in the state comes Saturday 23th of February 2019.

A former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has again defended his decision to support the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar. Mr Obasanjo in a statement to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Lagos Island Club said he has been called several names for sticking his neck for his former deputy. A copy of the statement was sent to PREMIUM TIMES Wednesday afternoon. Mr Obasanjo, recently, has come under criticism for publicly supporting Mr Abubakar’s presidential bid despite repeatedly calling him a corrupt person in the past.
