COVID-19: ELETU USES RAMADAN TO CRUSH ISLANDERS WITH FOOD STIMILUS PACKAGE.

As Ramadan (Fasting) commerced barely two weeks ago under present novel coronavirus envelopes the world with ease lockdown and maintain social distancing, Supervisor for Environment Honourable Moshood Olawale Eletu, (MOE) Lagos Island Local Government last week compliment the efforts of Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Federal House of Representative Hon Dolapo Badru,  Deputy speaker Lagos State House of Assembly Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni and Executive Chairman Prince Adetoyese Tijani Olusi Lagos Island Local Government has all been distributing palliatives measure to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 to their various community.

Flycomnews gathered that,  the stimulus package covered five hundred (500) populace in ward B3 Lagos Island Local Government with distribution of 5kgs of Garri, Packs of  Noodles, Loafs of Bread and Create of eggs to each household.

Supervisor for environment said, this is coming as a support for needy and vulnerable one's in Ward B3 with stimulus package to compliment  the efforts of the Executive Chairman Adetoyese Tijani Olusi to ease the effect of this pandemic in his community.


He assured all the populace that the proactive chairman won’t leave any stone unturned in order to fight this deadly disease.

The Environmental Department will continue to work closely with the Executive Chairman in discharging its mandates, including fumigation and disinfectant of the community especially during this Covid-19 pandemic period, Eletu said.

Eletu cautions the people as Lagos state Government ease the lockdown to abide all directives, always ensure use of face mask and continue to maintain social distancing

He urged all Muslim brothers and sisters using the Holy Month of Ramadan to pray to Allah to heal the world out of Coronavirus and may Almighty Allah accept our fast and prayers. (Amen)

2019: Afenifere Faction Endorses Buhari

A faction of Afenifere, a pan Yoruba social-cultural group, on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari as its candidate for the February 16th election. The Senator Ayo Fasanmi-led faction said it took the decision because of Buhari’s sterling performances. At the endorsement which took place at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Chief Ayo Fasanmi, Deputy Governor of Lagos and Ogun States, Mrs. Idiat Adebule and Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga and former Minister, Demola Seriki who represented Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
