OBA OF LAGOS DANCED IN THE MIDST OF AUDIENCE AS OKEPOPO FOUNDATION VICTORY WALK FOR BABAJIDE OLUSHOLA SANWO OLU TO THE PALACE

Human and vehicular movement were standstill in the premier city of Lagos lsland on Sunday 27th of January 2019 as okepopo foundation community organized Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu walk for victory in collorabation with New Dawn Support for Sanwo Olu and Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu Nigeria and Diaspora held a campaign and solidarity walk ahead of Lagos state governorship election, which comes up on march 2rd 2019.
FlycomNews reports that people gathered from various streets and major roads to kickstart the Walk from Jakande Palace as party leaders, elders, white cap chiefs, supporters, party stewards, members, associates, friends, relatives and families tunred out enmass to the joined the mother of all walk for Babajide olushola Sanwo Olu victory as the walk ended at the (IGA iduganran) Oba's Palace.
Oba of Lagos, his Royal majesty Oba Riliwanu Osuolale Aremu Akiolu urged the people of Lagos state to shun violence and he declared his stands for Sanwo Olu while informing the audience to ensure they get their permanent voter's card for the coming election. He further stated that any one that stand to distort the peace in Lagos during the general elections, security personnel will deal with such elements.
His Royal Majesty and the white cap chiefs prayed for victory and peace in Lagos state and Nigeria as a whole as Lagos state will be hosting Mr President Mohammadu Buhari in coming days.
Mr Oye Ajanaku, Secretary Okepopo foundation seized the opportunity to send communique through flycomnews that Okepopo Foundation community is a unique and peaceful community. This walk is special and unexpectedly glorious opportunity for the people of okepopo because this is the second time the okepopo Indigenes will serve as the executive governor of Lagos state, Alhaji lateef Jankande in 1979 and now Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu. 'This alone shows that okepopo Indigenes are born technocrats and urged the good people of okepopo and Lagos state cast their votes for Sanwo Olu. All Lagosians should be calm and have strong confidence in Babajide Sanwo Olu. SANWO-OLU has the master plans and manifestoes on how to turn around Lagos state to the economic hub of Nigeria and west African states', Ajanaku advised.
Babatunde Adelekan Director General New Dawn Support for Sanwo Olu said the victory walk was so wonderful with the immediate and tremendous turnout as one can see on ground. 'People are here with us for sanwo olu walk for victory and this is giving us strong assurance that Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu will be sworn-in as the next executive governor of Lagos state. This walk for victory stands for unity and continuity, which has started since last year. We had the same walk in USA and UK as we are doing a lot of collaborations, and we have many members across the world. 'I am here today, i urge all the eligible voters to come out enmass to decided who will rule them in Lagos state, and residents in Lagos state should come out and votes for Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu. We also believe that Babtunde Raji Fashola, Governor Akinwummi Ambode did well and he (Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu) will also do so and perform excellently', Adelekan stated.
Alhaji Tajueen Ekemode Chairman Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu Campaign Support Group Nigeria and Diaspora said, 'our interest as a support group for Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu both Nigeria and in diaspora is to ensure that Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu wins the election as number one citizen in Lagos state'. According to him, this next month election is victory for APC because machinery have been put in place and we have educated the youth and the people of like minds to get their permanent voter's cards ready and cast their votes for Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu'.
However, we are assure of continuity. This continuity is seriously going to help, that is why the good people of the state must ensure the victory for Sanwo Olu and APC is the only main party that will bring about the continuity we deserve, Ekemode added.
Dr Lawal Babatunde Adams, central coordinaor Babajide Olushola Sanwo campaign support group Nigeria and diaspora during a telephone conversation said that he appreciated the okepopo foundation community, Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu campaign support group (BOSCSG) and New Dawn support for Sanwo Olu. He particularly, thanking his brother-friend, Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu for his contributions and recognition of their support for him. Adams said, 'we are proud and solidly behind you throughout your campaign and when your tenure begins by God's grace. We also appreciate and thank all the white cap chiefs of okepopo and the Oba of Lagos, His Royal majesty Oba Riliwanu Osuolale Aremu Akiolu for his support to host the walk and urged the electorates to ensure to cast our votes for Sanwo Olu'.
Mr Bayo Sanwo Olu said he was very delighted to be a member of okepopo foundation and again Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu lives in Nos. 57, Omidundun street, Lagos island and he has been supportive as a foundation member of okepopo foundation community and his environs. As a grassroot politician, we have been trying to mobilize and sensitize the people to get their permanent voter's cards ready and ensure to cast their votes for Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu as next executive governor of Lagos state.
Honourable Shamusideen Olaniyi Ojora, Councillor Representing ward G1 Epetedo/Okepopo Community said the last time Okepopo community had this opportunity was 40 years ago in 1979 during the time of Alhaji Lateef Jankande and the opportunity is here again and must ensure to vote Sanwo Olu. Today's walk for victory has high attendance of most personalities profile people and also thanking our national leader Bola Tinubu and all the entire members of okepopo community for supporting Mr., Sanwo Olu. He said further that they have started house to house campaign for the people to vote for Sanwo Olu as they are targeting 4millon votes to deliver Lagos state to Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo.
Honourable Dawodu Abiodun Balikis(A.K.A Finest) representing ward G3 surulere local government constituency 1, said the rally was usually organized for honouring Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu for people to know about his intentions as the next executive governor of Lagos state and some of his contributions in some parastatals he had headed.
Finest as he is proudly called, use the rally ground to urged her surulere people to vote Sanwo Olu and assures that surulere have been an All Progressives Congress (APC) ground because of the infrastructural development the surulere people are enjoying, Dawodu said.
