As JAMB Mock examination is slated for 18th February, 2020 nationwide. The education committee through instructors at the free coaching centre organizes computer based test and its facilities with a view to having a hitch free examination. This scenario played out today as Afinni committee on education that is taking (210) two hundred and ten candidates in both theories and practical of Computer Based Instruction (CBI). The pictures below revealed how the candidates were allowed to tackle the questions and answers them on CBT in batches without much anxiety but time management, self efficient studies and scores to know their performance scales with preparedness for the forthcoming examination.
To make sure things went well, Honourable Olanrewaju Afinni who is member Lagos state house of Assembly, representing Lagos Island Constituency || with his wife paid an unscheduled visit to Holy Cross Cathedral Primary School yesterday, the venue where the tutorial and practical tests ongoing. He made brief tete-a-tete with each of the candidates to get feedbacks of the performances of their facilitators and the instructors who are taking them on various subjects offered.
The CBT practice was administered to the 210 candidates with each laptop and the results were given immediately to evaluate their performances. Miss Adekunle Mariam scored 52% and was given a token of #1,000, Jimoh Khadijat 32%, Junaid Muslimot 28%, Ajao Yusiro 37%, Akindele Arafat 48%, Al-hassan Fathia 16%, Halimah 28%, Alade Nimota 15%, to mention few. However, this is just a practice, they’re expected to perform better in subsequent CBT tests. This is a proof that many are not familiar with the CBT and/or not yet good in their selected JAMB subjects.
The lesson is a huge benefit for more than 90% of the participants.
