The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon, Olusesan Daini, has requested for compulsory registration of all social clubs (Bases/Joints) in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.


He asked all to officially write the Council for registration and attached with names and contacts of members.

In a statement released by Special Adviser to the Chairman,Media and Strategic Planning Shakiru Seidu said the decision was reached at the monthly peace and security meeting, where all the heads of security outfits in the LCDA were present, which is also in line with the commitment of his administration to ensure the safety of lives and properties in his domain.

The Chairman said his government will not allow some notorious elements to use Bases/Joints as a hideout to cause breakdown of law and order and upset the peace that the LCDA has been enjoying.

Daini said, “Any Base/Joint that fails to oblige with this order on or before 6th of March, 2020, will be declared illegal and shall be liable on conviction as stipulated by the law."

Lastly, the Chairman applauded the residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA for the unflinching supports giving to his administration, noting that more better things are still in the offing.

2019: Afenifere Faction Endorses Buhari

A faction of Afenifere, a pan Yoruba social-cultural group, on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari as its candidate for the February 16th election. The Senator Ayo Fasanmi-led faction said it took the decision because of Buhari’s sterling performances.
