In continuation of her service to humanity and making education her priority to ensure all pupils in Apapa Iganmu Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) have access to quality and sound education, the Chairman Apapa Iganmu Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) Hon. Dr. Funmilayo Akande-Muhammed has presented and distributed over ten thousand branded school bags to all public primary and secondary schools in the council area.
She made this known while addressing the audience at the council Secretariat yesterday Apapa Igamu LCDAs Lagos Mainland.
The council boss said, 'interest and passion for learning her priority and concerns to provide over ten thousand school bags to aid learning for the pupils in public schools'.
While presenting the school bags, also given three hundred free jamb forms distributed to the public secondary students in Apapa Iganmu LCDAs says they should take their studies priority as she takes their studies priority and concerns for her administration.
Akande Mohammed said, the programme meant to encourage the young ones to focus and provides essential needs for their studies as this gestures not left out to only public primary pupils but secondary pupils beneficial for the scheme.
She added, the revonation of public schools across the council areas provided free library facilities for student to cultivate reading culture to enhance their performances.
Infrastructural development one of the commitments the administration has continue to work on particularly road infrastructure, revonation and construction of access roads will be duly deliver for public use, said Akande Mohammed.
